What to ask at the service?
A good check before purchase
Choose your service, not the seller, and request a written report. A serious seller does not refuse a check.
Computerized diagnosis
The errors stored in the car's computer show problems with the engine, gearbox, ABS or airbags. Many don't feel comfortable on a test drive.
Body and paint
Paint thickness shows which parts have been repainted after an accident. Ask to check underneath and for rust traces.
Service history
Ask for invoices and service booklet. Mileage from maintenance must increase naturally to the one on the odometer.
Valid ITP
Check the expiration date from the ITP certificate. Without a valid ITP, the car cannot be registered in your name.
